Forming in the Mid City neighborhood of Baton Rouge, LA in 2009, Andrew Moran's woodworking studio is now located in the New Orleans area. Striving to create timeless, one-of-a-kind pieces while preserving the history of Louisiana's urban forest, we intercept city fell trees from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Covington, Lafayette, and surrounding areas. These trees, typically destined for the landfill or mulch pile, are carefully milled and dried at our sawmill and dry kiln facility.
With a heavy focus on sustainable practice, we see the entire process through - from milling and drying city fell logs into reclaimed material, to handcrafting bespoke furniture uniquely designed to your needs. We hope to fulfill our passion of extending the life story of these historic trees and bring them into your beloved homes and work spaces.
