Forming in the Mid City area of Baton Rouge, LA in 2009, Andrew Moran’s woodworking studio strives to create timeless, one of a kind pieces while preserving the history of Louisiana’s urban forest.
Focused on preservation and sustainable practice, we intercept city fell trees from Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Covington, Lafayette, and surrounding areas. These trees, typically destined for the landfill or mulch pile, are milled and dried at our sawmill and kiln facility on the North Shore.
Seeing the entire process through, from milling the logs to building uniquely handcrafted furniture, allows us to fulfill our passion of extending the life story of these historic trees into our client’s homes and work spaces.
Andrew Moran’s woodworking studio is located in the New Orleans area. To set up an appointment, please visit the contact page.
